Hi All.
I had one more birding outing over the past weekend of 24th-26th November in the Soutpansberg Area with dedicated birders Jane and Brenda from Gauteng.I would like to thank our hosts Madi A Thavha Lodge,Marcelle and their staff for their nice hospitality during the days that we stayed.
Our itinerary include to visit the most birding hotspots around the Soutpansberg area which include Hangklip forest,Roodewal Forest,Muirhead Dams and forest and Luvuvhu River.On Sunday afternoon we travelled to Hangklip forest and a nice picnic site for birders.We had a great sightings amongst others;

On Monday morning we went to Roodewal Nature Reserve renowned for African Broadbill.We also visited Muirhead Dams and Luvuvhu River and we had some spectacular sightings of special birds and to name some few include;

While driving back just before we could say to call it a day and on the main road to Madi A Thavha luckly we came across a birding party of birds feeding on flying ants.We stopped and within few minutes we ticked some few birds that we missed on the trip and they were;

On Tuesday morning I had time to myself before I leave to do some attlasing at Madi A Thavha forest and in my first 2 hours I already ticked some nice birds of about 58 species and amongst many birds these are birds I heard and saw during my attlasing;
