Last weekend I was privileged
to find myself to be one of the birding expert during the SANParks West Rand
Honorary Rangers 17th Kruger National Park birding weekend at Punda Maria

spotted some few Pennat-Winged Nightjar flying around. On Saturday early morning
three different groups went out and my group was the last one to leave the camp
at 04:30.Just after the gate we spot a single Common Quail along the road and
several Square-Tailed Nightjar and Fiery-necked Nightjar.
Apart from the two male Lions
we saw on the road to Pafuri Picnic site we enjoyed a great sightings of special
