It was on Saturday 03 October 2009 when I took out one of my client
from Gauteng Province by the name of Michael Johnson and and wife to
Entabeni Forest and Muirhead Dams for half day.
At Entabeni Forest we saw some special birds amongst others Orange Ground Thrush
Bat Hawk(a pair)
Grey Headed Parrot
Narina Trogon
Jackal Buzzard
Burchell's Coucal
African Goshawk
Swee Waxbill
Cape Grassbird
African Firefinch.
At Muirhead Dams we went there to look for Blue Spotted Wood Dove at
one of the most reliable places for this species.Luck was not on our
side for the Dove and it turn out when we stopped to one of my
favourable patch when Michael said he saw something like a Dove and
might be a Lemon Dove.Guess what It was a pair of Buff Spotted
Fluftail that my clients had a nice view of them.Other birds we saw
include Lizard Buzzard

Southern Boubou
Blue Mantled Crested Flycatcher
Emerald Spotted Wood Dove
Thick Billed Weaver
Cape Weaver
Golden Weaver
Common Moorhen
